So anyway, here's a pic of William Shatner signing my promotional artwork at a comic store for the series of comics he's doing. It's like a Wiilliam ShatNerd thing.You can see the original at my site.

Randy California - SPIRIT.

The piece shown here [ at bottom ] is taken from my website where I am posting many new pics. Take it as it is - or 'take it acid is' - whichever you prefer. This Randy California [ of SPIRIT fame ]artwork is from a painting that I worked with off and on over several years. Oil, acrylics and marker pen on board. I've recently found it on a couple of bootleg albums for the late and great man himself. The bootleg pictures are displayed and are the top two copies shown here. My original version started as a meandering line piece inspired by the Martin Sharp 'Wheels of Fire' Cream album cover art.Then it took on a life of it's own.

Doing a lot of production art at the moment [ which I can't post ].The above picture of mine reminds me of the Beacon/Lickey Hills in the U.K. I put it up here as it's completely the opposite of everything I am working on at the moment.They say a change is as good as a rest don't they ? . . . that'll have to do then !

I provided explosions and particle effects to the shot immediately above. Lightning touches and 'bits flying through the air'.Cosmetic stuff. The piece is all Jay Brooks really. He built and designed it all for a trailer.Oh,and we worked together on the matte background. He is animating pieces for his 'Slide Zone - [Pearl of Wisdom] graphic novel and animated movie which is looking very cool.You can see a character piece presented on his site and blog.The piece above it is another one from Jay that I did particle work and small touches like the mist.You can click on his blog to see more.
